The smiling man wearing the fisherman’s hat is an example of how amazing life can be. For years he operated his own fishing boat up in the cold waters off Alaska. He wasn’t a big operator, and had just one boat and a very small crew.

When a nasty storm took his boat to the bottom of the ocean, it took his livelihood with it. Like most of us, he had to fight the impulse to just give up!
