<p>An affirmation is a good tool to stay on track to achieve your goals. BUT, have you ever noticed that your affirmation does NOT work all of the time? This happens because literally every thought you have is actually an affirmation.</p>
<p>So, you can spend three minutes telling yourself *I am focused.* But your powerful subconscious mind will go right back to its unfocused state the second you your 3-minute positive affirmation is over.</p>
<h2>Do You Have A Negative Affirmation</h2>
<p>Both negative and positive thoughts can serve as an affirmation. This is why it is so important to avoid negative thoughgts, which have the same power as a positive affirmation.</p>
<p>An positive affirmation alone will not change your life, and neither does depending on so-called positive thinking.  If you want some lasting changes, you need to literally re-program your brain.</p>
<p>Building a new habit requires shifting a new thought or action into a long-term memory. It takes from three to four weeks of daily action to build a stable long-term memory, but once it’s stored on your neural networks it will be stable.</p>
<h3>Add This to Your Affirmation</h3>
<p>So – here is a tip on getting more of what you want in your life: In addition to your affirmation, use another tool to further reprogram your mind. Write your goal on an index card and post it or carry it with you. Read it aloud several times a day.</p>
<p> The process of writing, reading and speaking engages more of your brain power than just repeating an affirmation. And it is especially good to do your affirmation first thing in the morning and just before you go to bed each night.</p>

<p>Nothing really happens &#8220;by chance.&#8221; We actually CREATE what we call &#8220;coincidence.&#8221;</p>
<p>When does coincidence happen in our lives? Stop and think about it. When you are focused on something and it has a priority in your life, little concidences  just seem to occur. This is often said to be the Law of Attraction in action.</p>
<p>This works no matter what you’re focused on. If you’re focused on worry and fear, or anger and frustration &#8212; you will see *coincidence events* reflecting what you are worried about. Worry is actually negative goal setting.</p>
<p>The classic example is someone who is looking for success, but just can’t achieve their goals. They might be focused on their goal, and that seems like a good thing. But their unconscious mind might be filled to overflowing with negative thoughts and beliefs.</p>
<p>So what happens? They create negative *coincidence events* that sabotage their efforts. Self-defeating situations are inevitable when your mind is focused focus on fear, worry, or the concept of being somehow limited.</p>
<h2><strong>Negative Coincidence?</strong></h2>
<p>Negative outcomes don’t just happen in our lives. They occur when we refuse to pay attention to warning signs of a probable negative outcome. The same is true for the Law of Attraction.</p>
<p>Let’s run a little test of how you got to where you are today because of coincidences that occurred in your life.</p>
<p>Start with one aspect of your life. This could be love or romance, your career or business, financial success –- anything that has truly special significance to you.</p>
<p>You know where you are today in that area, but let’s step back say three years. What was the situation then? Take a few introspective minutes to recall the major decisions you made in that area of your life as you think forward to today.</p>
<p>Here’s where you’ll begin see how one decision led to another. Pick one major decision. If you had made a different choice, how would things be different today?</p>
<p>So why do you think you made that decision? You were focused on something positive or negative, that focus created your response to an opportunity or challenge &#8212; and here you are today as a result of that past focus and action.</p>
<p>If you choose NOT to direct your subconscious mind to create the life you want, everything will remain as it is today &#8212; or will go downhill because of building anger and frustration.</p>
<p><strong>Creating Positive Life Outcomes<br />
</strong>Here’s how to instead choose to get positive results in your life:</p>
<p>&#8211;Begin by deciding what it is that you really want &#8212; make it a positive outcome, and not fear based!</p>
<p>&#8211;Begin to FOCUS on what you<span style="text-decoration: underline;"> want</span>.</p>
<p>&#8211;Continuously reassure yourself that everything in your life IS moving in the desired direction.</p>
<p>&#8211;Trust and be patient. Do NOT interpret challenges as evidence of a negative outcome. View them as learning experiences and opportunities to fine tune your actions.</p>

Do you have a desire to become wealthy? OK. Then let&#8217;s play a little mental monopoly game to set an imaginary value on your mental process.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s suppose that for every thought you have, you either gain or lose a dollar. Assuming you have one thought a minute, every hour would then offer a potential $60 gain or a $60 loss.</p>
<p>Each successful 16 hour day would then equal a potential gain of $960. But on the other hand, a single negative thought like Forget it, I&#8217;ll never make it anyway might trash four hours creating a loss of $240 on your mental balance sheet.</p>
<p>So, can you see how important a single thought can be to one seeking prosperity?</p>
<p><strong>The Power of a Thought</strong><br />
Your life is not just the result of the thoughts streaming through your mind. In truth, your thoughts actually create your life.</p>
<p>How can that be so?</p>
<p>OK. Suppose you were laid off from your job. Now it&#8217;s obvious you did not create the weak economy leading to that event. BUT you ARE in total control of how you respond.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s how that works: Suppose you get depressed and just give up. Your response would obviously create a negative reality in your life.</p>
<p>But what if you instead take the tiger by the tail and start a new business on the web. You will have then created an entirely different reality in response to the exact same event.</p>
<p>Life doesn&#8217;t just happen to us. It&#8217;s our response to what occurs that creates our personal reality.</p>
<p>Think about this for a moment. You really ARE in charge of creating your own life.</p>
<p><strong>The Thought Streaming Process</strong><br />
Many people go through their lives paying little or no attention to their active thought process. They are largely unaware of how their mind works: What it tends to pay attention to, what it fears, what it says to itself, and evenwhat it chooses to simply ignore.</p>
<p>For the most part we eat, sleep, work, play, laugh, worry, hope, plan, love, hate, cook, drive, work out all with little thought as to how we think, or even what we are thinking.</p>
<p><strong>This is not necessarily a bad thing.</strong><br />
If we gave conscious attention to virtually every one of our movements or actions, we would likely overload our brain with unimportant decisions.</p>
<p>But there&#8217;s another level of thinking we should give intense, dedicated attention to the thoughts that create our life reality.</p>
<p><strong>Thought Stream Focus</strong><br />
Successful people have success-focused thought streams. Wealthy people have prosperity-focused thought streams. Powerful leaders have leadership-focused thought streams.</p>
<p>Do you want to create a lifestyle more prosperous than your current lifestyle? Then you&#8217;ll have to develop and refine a prosperity-focused thought stream.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s easy to say, you may be thinking. When you&#8217;re successful it&#8217;s easy to think success, and when you&#8217;re rich it&#8221;s easy to think prosperity. But I&#8221;m not close to wealthy or successful. The conditions of my life are keeping me down.</p>
<p>Not so. There&#8217;s only one thing keeping any of us down our thoughts.</p>
<p>Your thoughts got you where you are today and they will keep you there, unless replaced with something more positive and powerful.</p>
<p>But, you CAN learn to direct your mind to create any lifestyle you desire.</p>
<p>The only true requirement is that you take action. Just wishing for something to change has no effect at all. You will always remain exactly as you are today, unless you take action, and change the focus and content of your thoughts.</p>
<p><strong>Creating a Reality Shift</strong><br />
Assuming you DO want more prosperity, the place to start is by building a solid prosperity focused thought stream.</p>
<p>Start with a review of your current thoughts.</p>
<p>If you want financial abundance, but constantly think about your lack of money Â­you&#8217;re focusing your thought stream on the wrong end of the abundance stick. You need to take charge of the internal messages your subconscious mind is broadcasting.</p>
<p>Failure to pay attention leaves your subconscious mind in control. Then your subconscious will simply continue to reinforce the same thoughts that created the reality you have today.</p>
<p>Focus on feeling prosperous. Do not give attention to mental thoughts of lack. Replace them immediately with thoughts of prosperity.</p>
<p>Does this seem too simple? True, this takes no special abilities, intelligence or talent. It only requires a decision to take control of your thoughts. That&#8217;s it.</p>
<p>No matter what your past or present situation, or how many times you might have failed to reach your goals, you CAN change your life condition by simply paying attention to the thoughts streaming through your mind.</p>
<p>Give it a try, and watch your reality shift.</p>
<p>Your lifestyle is a mirror reflection of exactly how you think. Prosperity consciousness doesn&#8217;t just happen. You create it. Or you just continue to accept the crumbs that life happens to throw your way.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-1130" title="money4" src="http://www.quantum-self.com/wp-content/uploads/money4.png" alt="money4" width="100" height="100" />I was just part of a special goal-achievement training by Dr Jill that I found really useful, and she gave me permission to share what I learned.</p>
<p>First of all, just deciding to create a new a habit or personal situation does NOT automatically ensure you will achieve what you desire. The decision is only the first step. Next comes focused action.</p>
<p>The part of the training I want to share with you has to do how to imprint your goal or impress it solidly in your subconscious mind.</p>
<p>This involves taking conscious control of your thoughts to better manifest the changes you want to make. Imprinting occurs when your subconscious mind is impressed with a mental image of your desired end result.<br />
Imprinting involves three action steps:</p>
<ol>
<li>First you emotionally affirm your goal.</li>
<li>Next you picture yourself having achieved the end result.</li>
<li>Finally, you pump more and more emotion into actually having the feeling you have already achieved your goal. So if you want to lose 20 pounds, you picture how it feels to have that new pair of jeans or dress on, and feel the self-satisfaction and joy that goes along with that.</li>
</ol>
<p>Here&#8217;s a little review of what Dr Jill taught us:</p>
<p><strong>Affirm Your Goal</strong><br />
An affirmation is just a statement written out in first-person present tense as though you have already achieved your goal. Writing this is an action that deliberately programs your subconscious mind.</p>
<p><strong>Visualize the End Result</strong><br />
Mentally picture having accomplished your goal. See yourself actively creating the end result taking the steps that led to it. This is creates a virtual reality in your subconscious mind that will eventually replace your current reality, or belief system.</p>
<p>If you currently feel fat, your new subconscious virtual reality will replace that vision with one of you as lean and on-purpose.</p>
<p><strong>Generate Positive Emotion</strong><br />
Your subconscious mind does NOT respond to words it responds to feelings and emotions. The more emotion you put behind your goal, the faster you&#8217;ll get there. See and feel yourself having reached your goal.</p>
<p>In the case of wanting to lose 20 pounds, for example, forget feeling fat. Focus on feeling the joy and excitement of feeling slender and healthy and take the steps to get yourself there. And celebrate along the way.</p>

I&#8217;m certain you&#8217;ve heard that term.</p>
<p>Many self-help authors recommend that we use daily affirmations to help keep our self on track to achieve our goals.</p>
<p>But have you ever noticed that affirmations do really seem to work? You usually don&#8217;t get any closer to your goal with this approach and it may even be a total waste of time.</p>
<p>Why is this?</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s the secret: It does not work because literally EVERY thought you have is actually an affirmation.</p>
<p>You can spend three minutes telling yourself I am focused. But here&#8217;s the problem  the rest of the time your powerful subconscious mind knows darn good and well you ARE not focused, and will revert to an unfocused mind the minute your end your affirmation.</p>
<p>The basic idea of conditioning yourself to think in new ways is excellent, but verbal affirmations alone do not work and neither does so-called positive thinking.</p>
<p>Actually, positive thinking by itself is a bust.</p>
<p>You CANNOT <span style="text-decoration: underline;">think</span> yourself anything you need to reinforce this with attacking those ANTs Automatic Negative Messages that run around in the back of your mind AND you need to take POSITIVE ACTION.</p>
<p>If you really DO want to make some changes in your life, you need to literally re-program your brain. One great way to get started is to make some changes in your environment that will support creating your desired new habits.</p>
<p>Yes, I did say habits. Everything we do is based on habits. In fact, our brain loves habits. How else could it do what it does to keep your miraculous body purring along at the same time letting you do things like imagine, plan, think, make love, etc.</p>
<p>So get started by removing links to any undesired aspects of your current your identity the triggers that cause you to think in your old ways. Start today with a small change, like cleaning up and rearranging your workspace.</p>
<p>A few little changes won&#8217;t be enough to get you where you want to be. But if you keep building these little changes, you will actually shift more and more of your environment to your new role.</p>
<p>Look around your home and ask yourself objectively, What kind of person lives here? If I didn&#8217;t know who lived here, what would I conclude about the inhabitant? Do the same for your office: What kind of person would work here? Then make a list of the six people with whom you spend the most time, and ask, What kind of person would associate with these people?</p>
<p>Are your answers to these objective questions in keeping with the kind of person you want to be? If not, then what kind of environment would that person have? What kind of friends? And how can you shift your environment toward the desired new one?</p>
<p>Maybe you can&#8217;t immediately get a whole new house or a new job, but what CAN you change right now TODAY that will move you in the desired direction?</p>

<p>Why is that so?</p>
<p>Because it is much, much harder to believe in and create something you do not <span style="text-decoration: underline;">passionately</span> desire. But when you  focus on something that is naturally interesting to you &#8212; your work then becomes play.</p>
<p><strong>Are Your Law of Attraction Goals a Good Fit?</strong><br />
Take a few minutes to ask yourself an important question &#8212; am I pursuing the right goal for ME?</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s why that is so important: You&#8217;ll never really achieve your true potential as long as you pour your energy into something that doesn&#8217;t really fit your true passions and interests.</p>
<p>Does that seem too simple?</p>
<p>Think about it for a moment. It&#8217;s really very easy to automatically adopt someone else&#8217;s goal. We were trained to do this as children. Most of us were taught to value the goals our parents and educational system set for us.</p>
<p>Some of us gave in and tried to do so. Some of us rebelled and learned to fail instead. And some of us felt somehow inadequate because we did not have the natural interest and/or aptitude to do what we were expected to do.</p>
<p>If you never seem to get the Law of Attraction working for you,  you might be setting goals you don&#8217;t really desire or believe in for <span style="text-decoration: underline;">yourself</span>.</p>
<p>This will never going to lead to Law of Attraction success. What it will lead to is one false start after another &#8212; and a tendency to want to quit after the first bump in the road. This is a major dead-end, and will do nothing but gradually erode your <a title="The ultimate self confidence home study course" href="http://www.quantum-self.com/smash_your_limits.htm" target="_self">self confidence</a>.</p>
<p><strong>Make the Law of Attraction Work</strong><br />
BeÂ sure your goal really is YOUR goal for YOUR life. If you feel resistance, take a serious look at that. Ask yourself WHO you might really be setting that goal for?</p>
<p>Then ask yourself if you really have a burning passion for that goal, and are willing to work through any so-called failures to achieve it. If your answer is no &#8212; this may be a good time to revisit your goal. Two things will happen if you focus on a Law of Attraction goal that fits your natural talents and passions:</p>
<ol>
<li>First, you will be happier, less stressed, and far more productive.</li>
<li>Second, you will be far more likely to hang in as you hit those jarring bumps in the road.</li>
</ol>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Quantum physics has clearly established that everything is basically energy in motion. Your automobile, the walls of your office, your desk, the clothing on your body, your computer &#8211; it is all vibrating energy.</p>
<p>Thoughts also consist of this very same energy, and are a powerful force in terms of creating  reality (how we view and respond to the world inside and outside our own self).</p>
<p>Thought is an interesting phenomenon. By its very nature, it is forever trying to manifest itself into physical expression. You can compare your thoughts to the sparks that rise from a campfire. For although your thoughts contain the essence and potential power of the fire, they exist only briefly, then simply dissipate.</p>
<p>Because a thought lasts only a few seconds &#8211; you may think that a single thought has much inherent power. Enter the power of focus and repetition: A thought that is repeated with intense focus becomes concentrated mental power,  just as sunlight can create fire when focused through a magnifying glass.</p>
<p>The more often a focused thought is repeated, the more energy and power it generates. This is not theory &#8211;  it is based on the fact that each thought creates hundreds (or even thousands) of new neural connections in our brain.</p>
<p>The old theory of the power of attraction states that this is how we attract circumstances matching our thought images. There is a science-based way to interpret this same phenomenon. Here&#8217;s how it works: Any well-focused thought that is repeated often generates impressions of the desired reality in the subconscious mind.</p>
<p>And since the subconscious mind basically operates 24/7, and constantly scans our internal and external realities, it has been primed to notice anything that reminds it of the focused thought.</p>
<p>If you bought a new red Toyota RAV4, for example, you would suddenly notice every red RAV4 you pass on the highway. They were always there &#8211; it&#8217;s just that your excitement over your new RAV4 has primed your subconscious mind to note everything related to your new vehicle.</p>
<p><strong>Are thoughts part of quantum reality?</strong><br />
Quantum physics tells us that you and I, as observers, have a direct and very real effect on the nature of reality. This is no exaggeration. Tiny sub-atomic particles (those you can&#8217;t see with your eyes) simply behave as unmanifested energy in accordance with what are called waves of probability. BUT the moment someone looks for the position of one of these particles, everything changes. At that moment they will suddenly convert from energy to observable matter.</p>
<p>So how does this apply to our day-to-day human realities? Try this: If focused observation can affect the outside world in such a radically powerful way, imagine what mastering that ability can do in your own life.</p>
<p>Engineered brainwave training encourages your mind to develop its power of focus &#8211; converting the 5-watts of electrical power of your brain into a 5-watt laser capable of burning through your so-called limitations.</p>
<p>In my clinical studies I discovered I could tell a lot just by observing someone&#8217;s brainwave patterns. Anxious people, for example, tend to produce too many high Beta waves.
