Do you want to become a millionaire – or do you have a dream of at least being more prosperous? A recent Merrill Lynch report revealed 600,000 new millionaires were created in ‘07, for a total of 10.1 million worldwide. That’s 1,648 new millionaires each day, or sixty nine new millionaires every hour. Now … ten million might seem like a large number, but this is actually less than one-fifth of 1 percent of the world’s population. So … how do people actually manage to become a millionaire? Consider the below research-based facts:
1.Fewer than 1% become a millionaire by winning a lottery or lawsuit, or as an elite athlete or entertainer.
2.Interviews have revealed that 80% of the people around the world that become a millionaire have little or no college education. But they have obviously done something special — build millionaire mind power.
3.One interesting report claims that 5,000,000 of those who managed to become a millionaire between 1992 and 2000 just took something they naturally enjoy, and focused four or more hours per week finding a way to get rich for doing it.
Can you imagine? It is being estimated that by the end of this year another 700,000 or more people will become a millionaire — regardless, or maybe because of, our challenging financial times.
That means that TODAY 1,923 people will become a millionaire. And about half of them will do this JUST because they selected a natural passion or interest, and focused four or more hours per week finding a way to get rich for doing it. In short, they have taken action to build millionaire mind power and put it into action.
So … if you’re not one of these new millionaires, let’s consider how you might BECOME one of them. Assuming you are not about to win the lottery or get an inheritance from your Great Aunt Betty, how can you get yourself in gear to actually become a millionaire?
The first thing to face up to is this: If you had the focused mindpower of a millionaire, you would have already become a millionaire. This is not meant to insult you, but just to create a jumping off point for what follows.
The level of mental focus present in those with millionaire mind power permits the millionaire or millionaire to-be to cut through the constant chatter of our human minds and do something very important – make a decision.
This is the starting point. If you truly want to become a millionaire, start by making a decision to COMMIT yourself to actually achieve your dream. Do it today, and you have taken your first step to build millionaire mind power.

Who Wants to Become a Billionaire

Are billionaires born or made. And are there any common success secrets required to become a wealthy billionaire.
Forbes Magazine gets these questions a lot, and finallydecided it was time to go beyond the broad answers of smarts, ambition and luck by sorting through otheir database of the ultra wealthy in search of trends.
Forbes analyzed everything from the billionaires’ parents’ professions… to where (or if) they went to school… their track records in the early stages of their careers… and other experiences that may have put them on the path to extreme wealth.
Their admittedly unscientific study of the 657 self-made billionaires yielded some interesting results.
Some of the most common professions among the parents of American billionaires (for whom Forbes could find the information) were: engineer, accountant and small-business owner.
Those who became a billionaire by making  their fortunes from finance make up one of the most highly educated sub-groups: More than 55% of them have graduate degrees. Nearly 90% of those with M.B.A.s obtained their master’s degree from one of three Ivy League schools: Harvard, Columbia or U. Penn’s Wharton School of Business.
But you don’t have to go to college to become a billionaire. More than 20% of the self-made American moguls on the most recent list of the world’s billionaires never finished college. Many of them made their fortunes in the tech sector. Among them:Â Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Michael Dell, Larry Ellison, (Oracle) and Theodore Waitt (Gateway).
Several ultra wealthy billionaires suffered a bitter professional setbacks early in their careers. Pharmaceutical tycoon R.J. Kirk’s first venture was a flop–an experience he regrets but appreciates. Failure early on is a necessary condition for success, though not a sufficient one, he told Forbes in 2007.
According to a statement read by Phil Falcone during a congressional hearing, his botched buyout of a company in Newark in the early 1990s taught him several valuable lessons that have had a profound impact upon my success as a hedge fund manager.
Want to become a billionaire. One place to start is to first learn to think like a millionaire. And YES, this IS possible.

The Monetary Value of Your Natural Talents

Wondering how to earn some extra cash or create a new business? Chances are you have natural talents or special skills that could become the focus of a money-making opportunity.
It’s often very easy to overlook what you do naturally do well simply because it is so easy for you. But… do you admire a friend who has designed such a beautiful garden it was featured in the local newspaper – or perhaps a business associate who is so organized he always gets projects done ahead of time?
I’ll bet if you were to ask them about their special talent, they would just shrug it off as easy. Their talent you are admiring is just effortless and natural to them – like painting to an artist.
But there’s money making gold in such natural talents. Why? Because NOT everyone is the master of these talent.
I have a friend in California who created a highly profitable home business using her natural talent for something most business people absolutely hate – bookkeeping. Is she rich? No. But she has a wonderful stress-free lifestyle, is in total control of her own schedule, is making lots of money, and has a waiting list of clients.
One of my neighbors worked for years for a carpet and flooring retail business. He has a wealth of knowledge about carpets and flooring, and now makes a handsome part-time income by running an ad telling people NOT to hire a carpet cleaner. He just comes in and for $100 and about 30 minutes shows you how to use Windex and an old rag to spot clean any so-called “carpet stains,†repair carpet burns, and restore the beauty of a wood floor with an over-the-counter product. And yes, he is making lots of money doing just what comes naturally.
Love dogs? I know two dog lovers in a nearby town who have created a *cash cow* easy money making business YOU could easily duplicate. They rented a cheapie warehouse with a fenced back yard, and set up a doggie day care center. They also offer grooming and obedience training, and are so profitable they are opening up another store. City people will always spend money to have someone care for their dog while they are at work.
Out of work executive? The very thing that cost you your job has created a new opportunity – part-time consulting. Companies still need your expertise – they just cannot afford the cost of having a full time person with your skills. The fast track answer is to get into one of those “write a book†programs, place your book with a print–on-demand publisher, make a business card, and start to offer your services.
Ultimately the ability to make a living with your natural talents and skills just begins with a choice followed with action. You can do this. The more natural and easy your special skills seem to you – the more likely they are valuable and saleable to others. Just go for it.
