If so, did you wonder how that book could end up on the NY Times Bestseller list for three years!

WHY did this happen? Dr Jill Ammon-Wexler here. I have spent years teaching mind power and personal growth to people from around the world — and before that I did the same in a clinical environment in California’s Silicon Valley.

And although I have developed many of the best personal development tools on the web, there is something I must still admin: WE LEARN MORE, AND LEARN MORE DEEPLY, FROM STORIES.

Here is a ell-written adventure fable that, Like Celestine Prophesy, will drop personal transformation right into the back of your mind:

Earthquakes, tornadoes, floods, tsumanis, hurricanes and industrial failures are happening around the world at an alarming frequency today. Disaster preparedness is of increasing importance.

It’s no accident the Red Cross, our churches, and the media news are now telling us to “Be prepared.”

Dr. Jill Ammon-Wexler of Quantum-Self here. I have personally been through three disasters – including two major earthquakes, and being stuck on a remote mountain in an old VW in the middle of a very intense blizzard.

Each time I was thankful for the disaster preparedness supplies I always keep at home and in my car.

From my heart, I suggest you consider setting up home and car emergency preparedness kits.

Preparing a Disaster Preparedness Kit

Include some energy-intense foods, water, a rain poncho, a space blanket, a good multi-purpose knife, a flashlight and extra batteries, first aid supplies, water purification tablets, a water container, a way to start a fire, some rope, etc.

Think ahead for yourself and those you love.

I personally buy pre-made kits from the company that also supplies the Red Cross, the US Marine Corps, and several major world-wide preparedness and disaster support organizations. I trust their integrity and the reliability of their products.

Free Disaster Preparedness Videos

From my heart I urge you to spend a few minutes to view their VIDEOS on how to prepare yourself and your family for the *increasing probability* of future major earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tornadoes, hurricanes, tsunamis, nuclear power plant failures, and other earth-related and weather disasters.

What you will learn about disaster preparedness could prove very important to you and your loved ones. Watch videos NOW

Are you struggling with the financial challenges of today’s economic downturn?

Many folks are turning to a new profession — working as a certified life coach in their own personal field of specialization.

What is a Certified Life Coach?

The first question might be: What IS a life coach? And only secondarily, what is a certified life coach?

In the simplest possible terms, a life coach may specialize in anything.

If you have built a great dog training business, for example, you might want to offer coaching to teach other people how to set up their own dog training business. The same is true for virtually any specialization — from small business, to dealing with personal challenges, or even preparing your homw for sale. The field of personal
coaching is wide open.

There are basically TWO secrets to doing well as a life coach. The first is picking a field of interest
you are truly interested in and have some skill in. The second is more challenging – presenting yourself as a credible resource.

How to Become A Certified Life Coach

Becoming a cdertified life coach can cost thousands of dollars. But there is an alternative. Mike Litman and Steve G.
Jones have created an amazing life coaching certification course that can solve the certification challenge.

How would YOU like to be certified by Mike Litman as a trusted resource in your field?

Mile and Steve have done something truly amazing. Their certified life coach program is destined to retail for $675.
BUT — You can now enroll for the ridiculously low price of just $77 if you respond quickly!

That’s nearly 90% off the normal price of $675! They can only take a limited number of students so
act now before the price goes up.

If this fits your vision, I encourage you to Enroll Today, at almost 90% Off –

Similar life coaching certifications will cost you thousands. Go ahead and search the internet foryourself. Why pay thousands when you can get certified by a BIG name for just $77?

Click here for a truly useful course that can give a huge credibility boost.

Got a Dream?

Achieving certain dreams often requires FAR LESS WORK than achieving other, seemingly easier goals. Why is that so?

Because it is much, much harder to work for to achieve a dream we don’t passionately desire. But when you manage to get yourself focused on what is naturally a passionate interest. your work becomes play.

Is Your Dream a Good Fit?

Hopefully you have invested some thought clarifying your dream … and you know exactly what you want. If that is the case. why not take a few minutes to ask yourself an important question — am I pursuing the right dream and goal for ME?

Here is why that is so important: You will never really achieve your true potential as long as you pour your energy into something that does not really fit your true passions and interests! Does that seem too simple?

Think about it. It is often very easy to automatically adopt someone elses goal. We were trained to do that very thing as children.

Ninty-nine percent of us were fully expected to achieve the goals our parents and educational system set out for us. Some of us gave in and tried to comply. Some of us rebelled and learned to fail instead. And some of us felt somehow inadequate because we did not have the natural interest and/or aptitude to do what we were expected to do.

If you find you never seem to achieve your goals, you may be setting goals you don’t really desire or believe in for yourself.

This is never going to lead to success. What leads to is one false start after another… and a tendency to want to quit after the first bump in the road. This is a major dead-end, and will do nothing but gradually erode your self confidence.

Pursue an Appropriate Dream

Three things will happen if you make the effort to refocus yourself around a dream and supporting goal that is more in keeping with your natural talents and passions:

First, you will be happier, less stressed, and far more productive.

Second, you will be more likely to hang in when you hit those jarring bumps in the road.

Third, there is a higher probability you will achieve a level of excellence at what you’re doing. This increases your value thereby increasing your potential for increased return on your efforts.

Put your goal to the test. Does it truly “measure up” to your innermost desires? Now … ask yourself this question: What do you have to do NOW to get what you want? => Click Here.

You hear stories about people who are on the edge of a cliff, but suddenly turn their lives around.

How do they do they suddenly change their life?

We all know we can’t expect success by doing the same things that have led us to the cliff’s edge. This is basic. So we can assume at least one thing – something changed for these people.

If YOU are ready for a positive and empowering change in your life, here’s a simple plan of action that will get you there with the least amount of struggle or pain…

STEP ONE
First, select ONE lifew change goal you sincerely want to accomplish over the next 30 days.

Make it a SINGLE goal, not a collection. Write your goal right now on paper and include exactly what you want. Follow the below format in writing your goal:

If your goal is financial, it might go like this: “By the first day of December 2009 (specify the exact date), I will have in my possession an additional $5,000, (The exact amount) which will come to me between now and then in various amounts. In return for this, I will do whatever is necessary and appropriate in my business (describe your business, or the business you intend to create).”

Second, now spend at least 30 minutes creating a mental picture of having achieved your goal by December 1st. Remember… you are creating a picture you want your brain to clearly recognize and remember. So… close your eyes and make it as emotionally vivid and intense as possible. Use all of your senses (smell, sight, touch, hearing and taste) to create a mental picture.

Third, read aloud your goal and re-create your mental picture twice a day every day between now and December 1st. Commit to do this! Especially good times are the first thing when you wake in the morning, and a few minutes before bedtime. Give your mind a target, and it will do its best to hit it.

STEP TWO
Next comes the part of success most people skip – translating your goal into IMMEDIATE action.

Most people’s goals are actually nothing more than a wish or desire. Because of this, their goals are seldom achieved. If you REALLY want to achieve a goal you must take ACTION.

First… a 2-Day Challenge. Fold the piece of paper you wrote your goal on to divide it into two sides. On the left side list 5 things you can do to move toward your goal. On the right side write the exact time over the next two days you will take action on this item. Briefly describe exactly what that action will be.

Next, go to work on your first task. Get it done! Do not let procrastination take over.

Then, at the end of your 2-day challenge, spend an hour or two to plan your next 2-day challenge. The satisfaction you will feel from completing the first 2-day challenge will carry you into the second, and do on until you reach your goal.

STEP THREE
Getting what you want is basically one successful 2-day challenge after another. So…why doesn’t everybody do this? For every 100 people who read this article, only 1 or 2 will actually do it.

Why? Although almost everyone wants to succeed, only a few are truly willing to COMMIT to their goals.

Are YOU ready to commit to YOUR goal?

Are YOU ready to make some CHANGES to do so?

Are YOU ready to truly TAKE ACTION?

STEP FOUR
If YOU are one of the few who is ready to go for it, here is one more tip:

Conduct a review of your current thoughts! You need to take charge of the internal messages your subconscious mind is broadcasting.

Failure to pay attention leaves your subconscious mind in control. Then your subconscious mind will simply continue to reinforce the same thoughts that created the reality you want to change

This takes no special abilities, intelligence or talent. No matter what your past or present situation, or how many times you might have failed to reach your goals, you CAN change things by simply paying attention to the thoughts streaming through your mind.

Give this strategy a try, and watch your reality shift! Change your thinking, and you change your life. Want to speed up the process by applying neuroscience insights? Break loose of your old limitations==>>Make a Change NOW!

I was literally broke just 13 months ago… But then I rapidly earned over $250,000… How did I do it?

It wasn’t rocket science… You just have to do CERTAIN THINGS, consistently, everyday… You can’t expect success by doing the same things that lead you to failure

Read the following quote from MIT scientist Stuart Lichtman that changed my life:
“What’s the reason you haven’t yet achieved what you want? It’s not your parents, it’s not your friends, it’s not your spouse, and it’s not your “bad luck”… It’s not the world’s economic situation, it’s not the competition, it’s not your boss… and it’s not the president… The reason is YOU… To be more exact, the reason is in your mind… and the things you do everyday…”

So, how did I finally do it?

First, I gave my mind a brand new, positive, empowering shift.

You have to know what you really want. Instead of focusing on 3-4 goals at once, focus in ONLY 1 goal you want to accomplish in the next 30 days.

Write the goal in a piece of paper, in this format:

In my case, it was a monetary goal, so I wrote…
“By the first day of January 2009, I’ll have in my possession $250,000, which will come to me in various amounts. In return for this money, I will have done whatever is necessary and appropriate in my business (describe the business you already have or intend to build) in an easily and fun manner.”

Spend at least 30 minutes creating a mental picture of you having achieved your goal in the exact date specified.

You will have to close your eyes and make it as vivid as possible, involving all 5 senses (smell, sight, touch, hearing and taste) as fully as possible in the picture you create in your mind’s eye.

The Focus Primer: You have to read aloud your description and re-create your mental picture twice a day. First thing upon waking up, and 10 minutes before bedtime. This is how the mind works. Give it a target and it will hit it.

Now here comes the best part…

Translating Goals into Immediate Actions
Most people’s goals are nothing but weak desires. As a result, they will always find excuses to stay within their comfort zone and put it off. The ultimate way to achieve a goal you want lies in ACTION.

The 48 Hours Challenge
Grab a blank piece of paper and divide the page into two. On the left side, write the goal you want to achieve in the next 30 days. And on the right, list down 5 things you can do to bring you closer to your goal. Ensure that you have one task that you can carry out immediately upon finishing this exercise.

And for the other 4 action steps you have listed, assign the specific time and date that you will have it done, within the 48 hours assignment period.

Once you have done that, pin that piece of paper on your bathroom mirror and start working on that first task you have set. Get it done before continuing reading the rest of the report.

They say that taking the first step is the most difficult one. We are often held back by inertia. The moment we start taking the first few steps towards a goal, we will gain momentum and continue on until we realize it.

By taking on the 48 hours challenge, to act on 5 action steps within 48 hours of setting the goal, you break out of your comfort zone and excuses and you are telling your brain that you are SERIOUS in getting what you want! And at the end of the 48 hours challenge, set aside 3 hours to plan further action steps you HAVE to take EVERYDAY (excluding weekends) to get you where you want to be.

Getting what you want is easy. But if it’s as easy as I’ve said, why doesn’t everybody do this? For every 100 people who had read this article, only 1 or 2 will end up putting it into practice. Why? Everybody desires to succeed, but only a few are truly COMMITTED to their goals. Unless you truly want what you want… you will never take the necessary action outlined in this report… for there’s always something more important that comes up to fill up your time.

Are you ready to commit?

Are you ready to make the change?

Are you ready to get what you want?

Passion and perseverance are more important to success than talent or intelligence. But there’s something else that may be the best gauge of your future success.

In a series of studies at the University of Pennsylvania, researchers found that “gritty” people are more likely to achieve success in school, work and other pursuits—perhaps because their passion and commitment help them endure setbacks. In other words, it’s not just talent that matters but also character.

How Much Does Talent Count?
So… if effort is the bedrock of success, what roles do intelligence and talent play? Many large research projects suggest that intelligence accounts for about 25 percent of one’s success. While persistence, or pure grit, accounts for at least 50 percent, and creativity an additional 25 percent.

Neurobiologist Angela Duckworth and positive psychologist Dr. Martin Seligman, known for his groundbreaking work on optimism, interviewed high achievers in various fields to identify their common distinguishing characteristics.

There were a number of people in their study who were brilliant, ambitious and persevering, Duckworth reports. But there were also a lot who were not geniuses, but were really tenacious and could endure setbacks. The researchers began to refer to this tenacity as “grit”—the determination to accomplish an ambitious, long-term goal despite the inevitable obstacles.

And for those who may not be ranked as having a genius IQ, Duckworth and Seligman have an important finding: Grit has value for people at all levels of raw intelligence and ability.

In fact, their initial studies show that grit and intelligence are completely independent traits. Duckworth says regardless of your ability, it’s important to be focused and able to bounce back from setbacks.

The Power of Passion
There is strong evidence that passion fuels persistence. Although extremely persistent people are usually passionate about their work, that doesn’t mean that the passion always comes first.

Perseverance, notes Duckworth, can itself foster passion. Often the most fascinating aspects of an area of interest only become apparent after deep immersion, to a level where you understand it and are enlivened by it.

For others, persistence may grow from a desire to test their limits. Consider endurance athletes, for whom challenge isn’t merely an obstacle to accomplishing something but often the spur to action in the first place.

Also in the Mix
Passion may be the linchpin of grit, but it’s not the only element. Truly gritty people tend to set especially challenging long-term goals. Self-discipline is probably also important, and studies have shown that gritty people tend to be highly self-disciplined.

Then there’s optimism, a trait that Dean Keith Simonton of the University of California at Davis finds is extremely common among high achievers. They just really believe in the end that they’re going to win, and they just keep on pushing, he says.

When you take a few minutes to think about what you are going to do over the weekend, you’re actually visualizing success with something in the future.

Many ultra successful people use a process of waking dreaming (communly called visualization) to actually create future memories of success that then drive their actions.

What is a future memory?

A waking dream starts out as a daydream, or visualization. But each time the visualization is revisited, the neural networks associated with it are physically strengthened.

Eventually, if the dvisualization is repeated enough, what started out as a daydream becomes a dominant vision of a future memory. The key word here is DOMINANT.

You can bet that all successful people started out with their own collection of personal fears, doubts, and perceived limitations. But as their dream was encoded into their brain cells through repetition, it gradually became more dominant than their fears and doubts.

Soon the neural network holding their dream is stable enough to totally override those old fears and doubts. This is NOT a made-up scenario. It is solidly based on modern neuroscience.

Think about that for a moment. This is a powerful key to success. BUT here’s what you have to remember: Every repeated thought builds its own strong physical neural networks. This is why it is so important to consciously use this process to build future memories of success — not failure.

Had disapointing results with your personal or business goal success?

It is commonly agreed that goal success involves setting specific, measurable and time-targeted objectives for something you want to achieve.

Goal setting is obviously an important key to success. But there is something more involved that many people forget to focus on. Goal success depends on having a realistic goal plan that puts you in action moving toward your goal.

Your first step in goal success requires that you set an achievable goal.

HOW DO YOU DO THIS?

1. Decide exactly what your goal is
This is your first job, and there really is NO short cut. Be as specific as possible. Your success will be a measure of your clarity – since an achievable goal plan cannot be created around a nebulous “dream.

2. Be willing to pay the “entry fee”
Success takes dedicated planning and effort. In a way it’s like building a house. In the beginning all you have is a rough concept. Then you develop a complete goal plan – and you immediately move closer to success. Creating a detailed step-by-step goal plan is the key here. Even Psychology Today cites the importance of developing a goal plan.

3. Focus on your goal every day
It is important to focus your mind consistently on your goal. Goal boards, post-it notes, and even on target screen savers can help. Consistent daily focus is absolutely necessary to “burn in” the new neural pathways you need to have goal success. This should be reflected in your goal plan. Success is an every-day event.

4. Get passionate
Having real passion for your goal. Be sure you have selected a goal you truly care about, or you may never get past the first “bump in the road.” Have you selected a goal you have passion for?

5. Act
The second key to goal success is ACTION based on a goal plan. This is where the development of a formal goal plan comes in.
