AShop Deluxe Installation Requirements

We recommend that you first test the site to make sure that all of the program requirements are supported by the server and IonCube decoding works on the server. Download the AShop Pre-install Test from http://www.ashopsoftware.com/dlcounter/downloads.php. Instructions are included with it in a text file. Run the ashoptest.php script from a browser. If all of the tests pass, go ahead with the installation. 

The IonCube encoded scripts run fine on most servers. We do not guarantee that the IonCube decryption will work on all servers. Troubleshooting of server configurations is not included in our free software support. If you have trouble with IonCube decyption and cannot resolve it with your hosting service or system administrator, then we recommend changing to a hosting service that supports the requirements of the AShop program.

THE PROGRAM MUST BE REGISTERED DURING THE INSTALLATION.

Language Sets
A set of English language files IS included in the new installation package. More language sets are available from our download page. When more than one language set is installed, customers may select their language preference for shopping cart pages and receipts.

Templates, Buttons, and Themes
In addition to the root page templates and images, one theme and one set of alternate buttons is included in the distribution package. The themes and buttons can be set in the Layout menu after installation is completed. If a theme or buttom set is not set, the root page templates and button images are used by default. More themes and button sets are available from our download page.

INSTALLATION SERVICE

AShop Software technicians will install the software for you for $50. You can purchase this installation service at http://www.ashopsoftware.com/tech-service-request.htm. In order to install and setup AShop Software on your host server, the host service provider must provide a method such as phpMyAdmin to create a database and assign a user and password. Some host service providers provide browser based mySQL management tools to do this. If your server does not provide this, you may need to ask your server technical support to create a mySQL database for you and provide the database location, database name, user, and password. 

In order to install and setup the software, we will need the following information:
 
FTP username and password to directory where AShop Deluxe is to be installed.

URL to your hosting control panel
Username and password for hosting control panel (to create database)
OR
If access to the hosting control panel cannot be provided or the database must be created by the hosting company technical support, please send the following:
database server path or URL (if not localhost)
database name
database user name
database user password
